Good shit, man. I remember alot of people saying that was probably one of, if not THE, best WrestleManias ever. I really miss those days... Wish wrestling could be as fun to watch as that again. - Shane

I remember this show quite well. Back in the day I actually paid for PPVs (when they were affordable). This is arguably the best WM ever and in contention for best wrestling show ever. The first few matches weren't outstanding but solid, and the big matches were just off the charts good.

The only problem I had was with Austin teaming with McMahon. But atleast it was better than him teaming with WCW. Neither angle really made that much sense, and both occured in the same year. But atleast they were BOTH more logical than alot of the stuff that goes down in WWE and TNA nowadays. I still miss those days...

Around this time also was one of my biggest mark out moments ever when Shane McMahon fell off the titantron in his match against Steve Blackman. Oh, this one? ;D

Remember this? I do...
The is The Pit that put "Rowdy" Roddy Piper down in the record books! The guest was to be "The Superfly" Jimmy Snuka (The WWF's biggest babyface at the time) as a guest on "The Pit". The aftermath turned into one of the most classic moments in wrestling history, not to mention one of the greatest fueds that after 20 years later is still remembered by wrestling fans today! Watch as Cheif Jay Strongbow, Tito Santana, & B. Brian Blair try and stop "The Superfly" from breaking down a door to get to Piper!
Piper was later questioned of his actions on The T.N.T. show (Tuesday Night Titans) Hosted by Vince McMahon & Lord Alfred Hayes. Piper slapped the taste outta Lord Alfred Hayes mouth (read "In The Pit With Piper" and you may understand why), & watch Vince lose it on tv & say, "Christ! What's the matter with you?" to Piper!
But Snuka would get his revenge in MSG! Well, sort of: (check out the NO ENTRANCE MUSIC entrances!)
I absolutely loved Hot Rod during this period. Incredible heat magnet.
Also love Monsoon and Hayes' "excellent move" shill for the Irish whip fuck-up. Good cover by Jimmy and Roddy, though...
