Here is the entire WM25 ppv ; www.wrestling-tv.net/forumz/showthread.php?t=21658It contains both MegaVideo and downloadable versions. The show wasn't too bad, but it just didn't have the spark that a supposed "25th anniversary" should have. It really seemed more or less like a normal ppv, or at most, any of the other Wrestlemanias that have come in recent years, that haven't lived up to the ones in the Golden Years and Attitude Era. It was ok, better than a Judgement Day or "Badd Blood", but it just didn't do it for me like it could have. But it did have its moments. I think it should have been Steamboat vs Jericho, though. Would have given Ricky alot more time to do what he does, and seeing as he's in better shape than Snuka or Piper, it would have made sense. But all in all, it was an alright ppv. Just could've been so much more... - MB

What I saw I enjoyed. All the reviewers seem pissed that HHH went over in a "boring" match to close the show. I didn't see that match, so I can't comment. All booking logic said HHH retains based on the feud.
I bet if HBK/Taker main evented, everyone would say GREATEST WM EVER!
But WWE doesn't book for the Internet Wrestling Community. They book for the rest of their audience.

I didn't say it wasn't a great show. It WAS a great show, but it could have just as well been a SummerSlam or Survivor Series. I just think there should be more in a 25th Anniversary, but I guess I just have lofty expectations... I was looking for something to happen to change everything, as that was what WWE was practically hyping it up to be. But they never really fulfill those promises of "everything changing".
It was a great show, I'm not trying to say otherwise, I'm just saying it wasn't foundation shaking or landscape altering in any way. One of the matches didn't last more than 25 seconds, and the only two women in the women's match that could actually wrestle [Victoria and Molly] didn't last nearly long enough. And of course, Orton closing out the show didn't appeal to me, but nevertheless, the other five matches were awesome.
Money in the Bank... Hardy vs Hardy... Y2J vs the Legends... Edge vs Cena vs Show... And of course, Taker vs HBK.
All in all, it WAS a good show, even a great show, but I don't PERSONALLY think it was "fantastic". I'm not a smark, but I probably am jaded, as I've been a fan for so long... I still think the best Wrestlemania's either 16 or 17, and 25 just didn't match up to those for me. But I was younger than, and it was at the peak of my fandom, so I'm sure I'm biased. I'm just giving my opinion, and I respect both of you guys' opinions, Dave and John. I just, personally, felt as though there should have been more to the show than what went down. But what WAS there was great.

The other main problem I had with the show is that Kid Rock's mini-concert is probably the reason Rey's match was cut down to less than half a minute. I'd much rather watch Rey-Rey than Kid Rock, but that's just me...

I hear ya. And I agree with you mostly. Kid Rock was way out of place for sure.
Worth $55? Fuck no, LOL. But a good show for sure. I think at this point, they're just hoping the name Wrestlemania is a big enough seller, because they don't have any groundbreaking ideas at the moment.
