Hi all. Just a notice that soon we'll be moving off Proboards again and heading to some new SMF forums here: bobwrestling.ewtorch.com/index.php The main reason for this is due to the upcoming changes to BOB, and hopefully it will make it easier for everyone to get involved in planning shows/angles/feuds when we move to a weekly schedule next year. Now, for those of you who handle more than one character, and you're concerned that you can't register all your accounts with one e-mail address, I found a really easy solution. Just sign up as yourcharactersname@bobwrestling.com (e.g., treyvincent@bobwrestling.com). But I'd also suggest creating a "main" account with your favorite e-mail address so you can be notified via e-mail of personal messages. So, start signing up now. We'll transition over there full-time shortly after the Walla Walla House Show RP deadline has passed. If you want anything moved over there, let me know. These forums won't go away until I've archived all the Rants in the Rant Zone Archive. Questions?

Still uberExcited about our discussions last night. We need to have another brainstorming session about those ideas and see where we were letting our maniacal minds running off and what should happen. Hell yeah. We've got some awesome things planned.

I'm sure animals and objects will be back on the roster down the road on occasion. I'm just kind of burned out on them right now. There are only so many ways to write man vs. object matches. And besides, Steel Chair hasn't been booked for months. Oh, and Tarantino is a great example. It incorporates all the elements of movies he loves into a blender and creates some awesomeness.

First off, the Toadlena results are written. I'll try to get them posted ASAP. Then I'll get to work on the older shows and post 'em retro style. Freeform just means RP in whatever style suits you. It also means instead of classifying ourselves as a "parody e-fed", I'm breaking BOB away from that mold so we can run regular feuds as well, but we're not going to be a "we're super-serious about our e-fed". Instead of parody, being freeform allows us to be "unconventional" or just to do a variety of different things. Hardcore, sports entertainment, pure wrestling, old school, lucha libre...why just focus on one tiny niche? Sports entertainment can still have humor. So can hardcore. Some ECW shows were FUNNY as hell. But I don't want to fall into the trap of being "I'm so hardcore!" gimmicks and have a bunch of XXXtreme Machines running around just because they're hardcore. I just envision ECW from the mid-90s, with our own spin on it. Dave is great at writing hardcore characters/matches, and I used to love ECW. And Voss, I know you love the Attitude era, which was brought on by ECW. Anyway, shows will keep the same format with play-by-play script format (not changing to narrative style). Any other q's relating to any of the changes, shout 'em out and I'll do my best to answer. Cheers! -Leary

There was no RPing for this show. It was just whacky drunken fun courtesy of Dave. We have random shows that aren't based on anything at times.

OK boys. In speaking with Mr. Voss, he had the great idea of taking BOB in a more old-school ECW-style direction. Because BOB is EXTREME! After giving it a lot of thought, I agreed with him. I have a ton of ideas ready to roll and the fun will really start next year in February or so. But for now, here's what's up for the rest of this year. Also, I posted a new House Show Thread: bobwrestling.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=houseshow&action=display&thread=1177 You will notice there are no matches. That is intentional, as this ties in with part of the new plan. BOB is going to be completely unpredictable heading forward. We may announce a couple matches here and there, but overall, I want a complete chaos vibe, where you don't know what's going to happen from week to week, show to show. How does this affect RPing? Well, you can RP however you want. You can react to show results. You can throw out challenges to give me an idea of who you want to feud with. Or you can do RPs that don't really have to do anything with the shows, but they should develop your character. Also, and this is the big part: We are going to start moving away from being a "parody fed" to be a "freeform fed." This is so I can run more angles. Because we have a small roster, it's really hard to have all the active RPers fighting each other. So, there will be feuds with active people and BOB legends as NPCs (non-playable characters). This will allow us to have characters like douja, Kamikazie Ken, and others on the roster and involved in good feuds. There will still be stupidity and lots of comedy and entertainment. Old ECW had plenty of fun in it. The original vision for BOB was to have some good wrestling surrounded by some goofy gimmicks and silly angles. That's all I'm looking for. Thus, we won't have any more animals/inanimate objects/emoticons as wrestlers (like American Panda, Steel Chair, Festering Death, for example). It's going to be all people, although Death may pop in as a 911 kill or beat the crap out of people role. BOB will get back to TV next year in some form. Still working out ideas on that. Anyhow, I'm pretty excited about what we've got planned. Much more info to come as I think of important/noteworthy changes.

All hell broke loose in Toadlena. With the arrival of a new Acting BigBOSS in the form of Steve Leary's brother, John Leary (former booker in Tidal Wave Wrestling and Pinnacle of Insane Wrestling), who is also now dating Michelle, the implications are great for everyone on the roster. The trio has promised a huge announcement to kick off the show, and vows that no matches will be announced before bell time. So if you want to impress the BOSSes, you better promo your asses off, bitches!
{{And since we're behind on the In Your Gymnasium shows, here's all you need to know: At the end of Kobe/SMP Match 7, it went like this: Ref Bump. Nurse Heidi looks to help out SMP. Michelle runs in. Cat FIIIIIGHT! Leary runs in to break it up. He tosses Kobe a gold chain. SMP Nipple Cutters Michelle. He beats on Leary. Then, JOHN LEARY arrives and hits SMP with a chair in the back. Kobe KOs SMP with the chain. The Learys, Michelle, and Kobe celebrate before a shocked and confused crowd.}}
1. ? 2. ? 3. ? 4. ? 5. ? 6. ? 7. ? 8. ?

Show's posted here: www.bobwrestling.com/Send-Us-Money-Leader-Of-The-Pack.htmlYou'll notice there's now a "Chapter" option. I plan to do this from now on, as some people like this thing. But if you don't, just do a Play All and you can get the whole card at once. Enjoy! And praise Dave for his awesomeness.

Cheers. When the whole site is finished, it's gonna be awesome. And I'm sure I'll already be thinking about another design, LOL.

Two quick notes. 1. I'm finally happy with the new design I came up with, so I've put up the front page. Slowly, the rest of the site will be updated to fit in with this style. 2. Dave's show, Leader of the Pack, will be up this weekend. Just need to give it a read before I upload it.
