Hippo, dude, I can't believe there's now another guy in BOB that enjoys Enya's music. I have all of her albums except for her collections, but I have all of her main releases. What are some of your favorites of hers? My personal top three are Orinoco Flow, Only Time, and perhaps my favorite song of all time, Carribean Blue. And Tori Amos is AWESOME. ;D I've heard a few of Richard Cheese's work on a local station here in Oklahoma, and as an avid parody fan, I've got alot of respect for him. Weird Al is my second favorite artist next to Enya. And I checked out "My Friend Robot", and I've gotta say I loved it. I used to watch those "Robot Wars" shows and the other ones like that, and I was a big fan of them. Yeah, I'm a total nerd. Anyway, it's really cool to finally have someone else to talk to about Enya. You should check out the forum on her website. I've been visiting there for years now, and they always have great discussions. I've only posted twice in the past six or seven years, but just reading the topics there is really interesting. I've spent plenty of rainy days just perusing through the different threads. And the actual site has every video I believe she's ever made. Great stuff.

ENYA !!LothlorienCaribbean BlueUte Lemper - The Case Continues . . . . . . . . Sting - Englishman In New York . . . . . Royal Crown Review - I saw these guys in concert several years back at a local dance club. It was a great night of Swing music and martini drinking. This is posted for the background music the creator used for his clips. "Room Nineteen" and "Among the Ashheaps and Millionairs" by Wolfgang Parker. Great guy!! The group is local to my area and I had a chance to meet Wolfgang and talk with him at a local club before their last CD Release party. I bought newest CD, "Room Nineteen" and got it autographed by the band. . . . . . . . Mind you ... Watching the Denver RollerDolls in action is the bonus part of these youtube clips. LOL

Lothlorien is one of my favorite Enya instrumentals. For some reason, ever since I heard it a few years back, it's reminded me of Christmas. That may be intended, since I know Christmas is Enya's favorite holiday. There's just something awesome about that song. But, I'm more into the ones where she sings, and as I said, C.B. is perhaps my favorite song EVER. Thank you for posting those, Hip. Here's one of my other top three faves ; And here's one for you, Hip ;

I like most types of music. Now, I admit that DeathMetal and the like are not generally at the top of my list ... Screaming Demonic voiced lyrics are not my normal idea of music. But I do have a few Metal groups I enjoy. Kittie OTEP Embedding Disabled by Request ... Bastages!!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AkxEuyRPMgShocker Stalin . . . . . . . . Lacuna Coil ... Arch Enemy . . . . . . . Nightwish ... Now ... before you think I am biased toward female vocalists (Which I am. hehehe) here are a couple of old school Male fronted Metal Groups I like. Tool . . . . . . . . . Metalica (Figures ... Embedding disabled) ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuMW3l1FCVYAnd finally, some stuff I found while looking for Metal Bands. This group reminds me more of Enigma than anything Metal. Still, good stuff. Enjoy @xl. Delerium ...

I think you may like this, Hip. Dave, you might like this as well. Damn good song, with a damn good female vocalist. [It'll have a black screen for about 22 seconds at the start. Just let it play]

First ... how come the [ youtube ] thingy does not seem to be working on the above videos? Is it the coding or is it You Tube being a pain in the arse again? Two ... when are we officially changing to the new boards? Three ... to keep this in line with the board subject ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1SiSUrvUnk by Oscar the Grouch, circa 1970, And my favorite cover ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ6VQcg_OSY by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.
